Hey folks, I'm here to announce something that might catch your interest.

Remember the little experiment I mentioned a while back in this newspost? Well then, I give you Project Hyperion.

Hyperion can be considered a spiritual successor to Sixteen, in that it will still include a plethora of experimental loops, but in much bigger numbers, with each loop composed on maximum 8 musical bars at 82 BPM featuring all sorts of crazy, digital sounds and what-not.

What's all the fuss about? Well, it is quite simple.

Hyperion would serve me as a creative bed for any potential project (on-going and future) with similar premises, and it would greatly aid me studying the variety of sounds and atmospheres around by putting them into practice right on the spot. Think of these loops as ideas, building blocks I am willing to share with you all for open discussion, feedback, and why not, also as a resource for your own projects if you think certain sounds would fit another particular idea.

If you'd like to use any of these loops as part of your pitch, please send me a PM. As a general heads-up, you are encouraged to use these loops for your own projects, as long as proper credit is given to the author. I would definitely love to see these in a video game (on Gamejolt, or even here on Newgrounds).

It is both a self-imposed challenge and a tool to help me piece different bits of information together in my head, that could serve as fundamental blocks for something bigger and more complex.
