Hello folks,

I've been thinking of liven up things a little bit by composing experimental audio to share here on Newgrounds (and eventually Youtube and Bandcamp) as form of training and why not, studying my whole arsenal of sounds better.

Short loops. Atmospheres. Thoughts in motion.

I've been gradually more intrigued by the concept of microsound and how vast this field is, tying up with a lot of contemporary musical trends and electronic genres. I'm a fan of glitch aesthetics personally and I also find intriguing sometimes how simple wave forms can create such multiplexed sounds and structures.

The more you know, indeed.

So without further ado, I present you the sixteen series. It will gradually complete itself as the tracks get finished and shared.

I like your little project here. From 1 to 12, I enjoy 1 (87 97) the most.

I've been intending to experiment with combinations of dynamically generated variable tones to see just how much range of "emotion" or "atmosphere" I can get from one single note, or one single chord.

Sometimes I'm not sure if your music has glitch effects, or if it's just the freaking video ad causing the audio to stutter. Haha.

Hah, good one. Who knows, maybe it's both :D

I've been willing to take a more "free" approach to composition for quite a good while and in fact I'm having a lot of fun with these series. I intend to release these loops as separate EP mixes so that they flow with each other without abrupt endings.

I'm glad you're enjoying this! I view this as some kind of preparation for a couple of projects I have in mind, so there's quite a lot to come this year.
