You are a wonderfully genuine artist and it's a huge shame how many abuse Patreon's rewards system rather than just doing their work and receiving donations from those who can/will. That's the only way I see it making any sense. Sure, credit your patrons in some way, but even then... why should those of us who want to donate be so selfish as to feel any need to be credited? I wouldn't. I'd just be glad you could comfortably create content. Be it with my help or not. Eugh

I came to the conclusion it's an attention-seeking platform by design. I have nothing against my audience per se, as I feel incredibly grateful and humbled by their support. I wanted to minimize that kind of reward loophole since it's completely antithetical to what a community should be built upon. Sure, there was the eye candy, the theming and what-not, but at the end of the day, I was still promising something I was already providing for free. It just didn't feel right. So, I'm glad I could revisit the system in time and go back to basics.
